6 0 Powerstroke Low Pressure Oil Pump Symptoms

Im having issue with mine and im thinking the same thing.

6 0 powerstroke low pressure oil pump symptoms. Tore the low pressure oil pump out and found the damage. Today i took the oil cooler out and the hpop. I looked at the rear lifters i could see under the hpop and those looked fine. About a year ago i replaced the low pressure oil pump gear when it exploded.

I used arp head bolts the first time the work was done. My symptoms were i could crank the truck it would run for maybe 15 20 secs then cut off and it would take cranking till almost the battery was dead before it. Well 30 minutes to disassemble with the correct tools and 30 to put back together. I get emails on dieseltechron asking about no starts related to no base oil pressure.

This time i had heads o ringed. Symptoms of rough idle no starts stalling poor fuel economy loss of power no power and im sure there is more. Both were super clean. At full throttle.

I make these videos because it hard to answer everyone or explain what. I lifted my heads recently and had to replace heads gaskets again. The low pressure oil pump was the culprit. So here is the story.

Backed the truck into the drive way and put it in park and sat there for about 1 min doing something and right when i went to turn the key off the low oil pressure warning came up on my dash display. Robert and i used the fmc manual and replaced 56 of gears to basically rebuild this part.
